 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. WOMAN STABBED HER HUSBAND TO DEATH FOR REFUSING TO RELEASE MONEY FOR THEIR DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY IN LAGOS.{PHOTO}.

      The Lagos state police command has arrested 23-year-old Stella Peters for stabbing her husband, Haruna Bala, to death today Tuesday September 17th.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the police command, Bala Elkana, says the couple who were not legally married, lived together at No 2 Tejuosho Avenue, Surulere lagos, for three years and have a Baby who just turned one.
An argument ensued between them which turned violent and the woman used a kitchen knife to stab the man in the back which led to his death.
Bala says the woman accused the man of refusing to release money for their daughter's birthday party.
Homicide detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba have taken over the investigation.
The suspect confessed to the commission of the Crime.
She will be charged to Court for murder.
