 Beloved actor Ras Ajai, 47, 'shot dead' while walking down a street A beloved film star and musician has di£d. Ras Ajai, whose real name was Brian Todd Boucher, played JLP political enforcer Claudie Massop in the 2024 film Bob Marley: One Love biopic. He was reportedly shot in Waterford, St. Catherine, Jamaica, at the age of 47. He rubbed shoulders with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they arrived at the movie's Jamaican premiere. Another person is reported to have sustained injuries during the assault, which remains under investigation by St Catherine South Police. Sources say the reggae and dancehall artist, vocalist and composer was walking down a street with a companion on Saturday, August 1, when they were attacked by armed criminals travelling in a vehicle. One of the attackers allegedly exited the car and unleashed gunfire on the duo and Ras was shot several times before they fled in the motor.     The EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal office on Friday, October 18, 2019 arraigned Confidence Okeagu and Chisom Ordu before Justice A.T.Mohammed of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, River State. .

Okeagu was arraigned on a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy, obtaining by false pretence contrary to Section 8(a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1(3) of the same Act while Ordu was arraigned on a-four count charge bordering on forgery and alteration of document contrary to Section 1 (2) (c) of the Miscellaneous Offences Act Cap M 17 of the Revised edition (Laws of the Federation of Nigeria) Act 2007 and punishable under the same Section.One more photo below.
