 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta.     On her official social media page,Mrs Aisha Buhari shared all these photos on her social media with the caption '' Today, I attended the Sixth Edition of the “MERCK AFRICA ASIA LUMINARY/ MORE THAN A MOTHER INITIATIVE conference for African First Ladies in Accra Ghana.
The event was organised by Dr Rasha Kelef the CEO of the foundation in collaboration with H. .E. Madam Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the First Lady of Ghana. It was attended by President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana, other African First Ladies, Ministers of Health, Gender & Education from 58 countries.
We discussed the challenges of “Building Healthcare Capacity” in the African Continent, we also brought to the fore issues, challenges and solutions of breaking the stigma around Women living with infertility.
I had the opportunity to share the challenges and experiences of women with infertility in Nigerian and what I am doing through my Aisha Buhari Foundation and pet project Future Assured to help curb the stigmatization, depression and abuse, as well as bring awareness, access to information, Health, and ultimately change of mind-sets.  ''.More photos below.
