 Press Release: Every Hisbah Officer Is a Peace and Security Ambassador in His Community. Kano State Governor Alh.Abba Kabir Yusuf has reaffirmed the determination of his administration to ensure security and peace  for the protection of lives and property across the state. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Sani Auwal, made the commitment during a stakeholders meeting on the contribution of shari'a sector institutions toward promoting peace and security in Kano State. The meeting was organized by the Kano State Hisbah Board and held at the Coronation hall Government House, Kano. He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and urged the Hisbah Board to focus more on providing intelligence reports to conventional security agencies, rather than limiting efforts to moral enforcement alone. NAIRA MARLEY'S TRIAL STALLED AS DEFENSE DEMANDS MORE DOCUMENTS.{PHOTO}.

    The trial of Afeez Adesina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley before Justice I. Nicholas Oweibo sitting in Federal High Court Ikoyi, Lagos was stalled today, Tuesday, October 22, 2019, as the defense counsel brought in a “motion on notice” asking the prosecution to front load more documents.
The Nigeria artiste, Afeez Adesina Fashola was arraigned, on May 20, 2019 on an 11-count charge of credit card fraud preferred against him by the EFCC. The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to all the charge leading to the commencement of trial.
