 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00. PROPERTY OWNERS WARNED AGAINST ILLEGAL REMOVAL OF GOVERNMENT SEALS.#PRESS RELEASE.

     The Lagos State Government has cautioned residents to desist from the unauthorised breaking of seals placed on any property by government institutions as a result of infractions, and subsequent enforcement exercises.
The warning was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Idris Salako saying anyone caught indulging in such an act will face legal sanctions.
Salako explained that placement of seals on buildings that contravened the law is a regulatory procedure taken after necessary notices have been served on the property owner, noting that the removal of seals is an illegal activity that will no longer be tolerated by the government.
“Artisans, Bricklayers, Electricians, Carpenters among others are advised in their own interest to reject jobs within such marked premises or face the full wrath of the law” he warned.
The Commissioner enjoined members of the public to cooperate with the State Government by reporting cases where such violations are observed through the following numbers: 07000527222, 07005050404.
