 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.      A 21-year-old Adeleke Oluwaseyi who claimed to be internet fraud apprentice was on Monday, November 18, 2019, handed six months jail term after being pronounced guilty of impersonation in a one-count charge filed against him by the EFCC, Ibadan zonal office. Oluwaseyi, who claimed to be eight months into online dating apprenticeship when arrested in June, operated with the name Patrick Bob, claiming to be an American citizen. He was sentenced to prison by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court, Ibadan Judicial Division.
