POLICE HOSPITAL AWKA NOW A REFERENCE CENTRE FOR VICTIMS OF ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCIES.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Recall that few months ago,following it's upgrade, the Nigeria Police Medical Facilities in Anambra, Police Hospital Awka in particular successfully performed it's first major surgical operations where it extracted 26 fibroids from a female patient. Since then the hospital continue to expand its horizons by unveiling Eye clinic and Dental department which provides twenty four hours services for both in and out patients.
Consequently, the hospital has now become a reference centre for victims of accident and Emergencies as well as hospital of choice for other Sister agencies in the State.
This was disclosed by the Command medical officer CSP Dr Emelike Chinenyenwa MBBS , Community health Physician and forensic expert Nigeria Police during a maiden meeting of law Enforcement Medical officials in Anambra State in order to foster cooperation, synergy and enhance level of preparedness for Emergency situations and disaster management such as fire outbreaks and epidemics.
Participants at the meeting includes medical officials of the Nigeria Correctional Services,Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NDLEA,
Fire Services,DSS,Anambra Vigilante Service and State Emergency management Agency (SEMA) Anambra State.
The forum was initiated and hosted by the Anambra State Police Command under the watch of the Commissioner of Police CP John B.Abang,fdc.
