 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. BRENT OFFICIALLY NAMED THE 2020 LONDON BOROUGH OF CULTURE TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

     Brent has officially been named the 2020 London Borough of Culture. 
Today, The Duchess of Cornwall joined residents to celebrate the borough’s new status.
This year Brent surpassed 21 other London Boroughs to win the £1 million funding, enabling them to stage a year-long programme of cultural events and initiatives.
At The Granville Centre in Kilburn, The Duchess met community volunteers and learnt about the co-working and event space on offer. The centre supports the local community with access to low cost fitness activities, workspaces, and business support.
Next, Her Royal Highness visited the recently renovated Kiln Theatre. The Duchess met young people turning their passions into projects as part of ‘The Agency’ project. Young people have been encouraged to apply for funding to help drive positive change in the community.More photos below.
