 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. In compliance with the directives of the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command *CP John B.Abang,fdc* the Command Medical Officer, CSP, Dr. Emelike and his staff are conducting temperature checks on officers and men at the State Command headquarters as precautionary measures against Coronavirus.
Consequently,hand sanitizers were also placed strategically for use by the officers.
Meanwhile,HODS and DPOS were equally enjoined to replicate same at their respective offices as well.
