 A Tennessee family, and an entire community, has been left stunned and grieving after a pack of dogs took the life of a man out for a jog. When 43-year-old Marko Bursey arrived in Henning, Tennessee, to visit his parents, he had no idea that he would never be returning back to his home in Nashville. Marko could have never imagined the terrible fate that awaited him, lurking in the woods, near an abandoned school.  However, Marko's horrific death has had an indelible effect on not just his loved ones but an entire community as they search for answers on how this tragedy unfolded. COVID-19: NIGERIA ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN JOURNALISTS DISTRIBUTES PALLIATIVES TO MEMBERS.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Lagos Chapter, has distributed relief materials to over 200 female journalists and widows across Lagos State.
Speaking during the distribution exercise at Radio Lagos Complex, Alausa, the NAWOJ Chairperson – Comrade Adeola Ekine – said the edible items were received from the Lagos State Government as part of the measures to cushion the effects of the COVID -19 lockdown.
Ekine explained that the relief materials were presented to members of the association through their chapels while children of deceased members also benefitted from the government’s gesture.
“We also make sure we cater for some female journalists who do not belong to any chapel, as well as widows and elderly women who are in dire need of the relief packages”, she stated.
Expressing satisfaction with the distribution pattern of relief materials in the State, the NAWOJ Chairperson applauded the State government for reaching out to the poor and vulnerable.
She further appreciated the State for ensuring that female journalists benefit from the interventions, saying “the gesture is evidence that the Sanwo-Olu administration is a true friend of journalists and also gender-friendly.
