 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. The Anambra State Police Command wishes to inform the Public that following the directive of the Federal Government on *Commencement of Nationwide Curfew between 8:pm to 6:am with effect from Monday 4th May 2020*,the Command and other Security Agencies will enforce to the letter the presidential directive in the State.
In view of the foregoing,the Command sought the Cooperation of "Ndi Anambra" and residents alike to adhere strictly with the Federal Government directive.The Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* equally warned Officers and Men of the Command to be civil to members of the public and also exercise restraint by avoiding use of extreme measures while enforcing the order.
The Commissioner of Police reassures good people of Anambra State that the Command under his watch will remain steadfast and committed in the duty of ensuring public safety and security.
