 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. COVID-19: PATIENTS ENJOY FREE MEDICAL TREATMENT AT IJEDE GENERAL HOSPITAL.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      The Medical Director of Ijede General Hospital, Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunmilayo Bankole, has disclosed that over 191 patients benefitted from the free medical treatment directive of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the month of April 2020.
Dr. Bankole said that the free medical treatment was in compliance with the Governor's promise that the State will pay the medical bills incurred by patients admitted to public healthcare facilities during the lockdown.
The gesture, according to her, was a way of lessening the burden of medical expenses on patients during the lockdown in the State.
"This decision of the State Government really assisted many indigent patients, who ordinarily would not be able to afford the medical expenses of undergoing the various surgeries carried out by hospitals which ran into several millions of naira", Dr. Bankole said.
Some of the beneficiaries at the hospital, commended the State Government for assisting them at a very crucial time when the lockdown negatively affected their earning power.More photos below.
