 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. Edo Governorship Election: PDP Extends Sale of Nomination Form
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) extends the sale of nomination forms for the Edo state governorship election.
By this, the party extends the last day for the sale of nomination forms from the earlier announced date of Friday, May 29, 2020 to a new date of Monday, June 1, 2020.
Consequently, the submission of nomination forms for the Edo state governorship election is now extended from the earlier announced date of Tuesday, June 2, 2020 to Wednesday, June 3, 2020
All leaders, governorship aspirants, critical stakeholders and members of our great party in Edo state should be guided accordingly.
