 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. Man Stabs His Brother To Death Over A Soft Drink Home - Crimefighters
       Sibling rivalry turns fatal as a 21-year-old man allegedly stabbed his younger brother, Henry, to death over a soft drink.
The incident happened at their home in Johnson Street, Alaba area of Lagos State.Chisom Eze kept a drink in the house before he went out. On getting back home, he realized that his younger brother had taken the drink.
Eze was enraged, he rushed to grab a knife and plunged it into his brother’s neck.
Immediately their sister saw what happened, she ran to the neighbors asking for help but nothing could be done to save Henry’s life.
Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana said that Eze is currently in the Police custody, and an investigation is ongoing.
