 Stephen Baldwin claims he was fired from rom-com for being 'funnier' than Jennifer Aniston Stephen Baldwin recently revealed that he was originally cast in the 1998 romantic comedy The Object of My Affection but was dismissed early in production. On his podcast One Bad Movie, Baldwin explained he had been chosen to play Vince McBride, the boyfriend of Jennifer Aniston’s character Nina Borowski.  However, after just two days on set, a producer told him there was a “problem”  specifically, that he was “funnier than Jennifer,” which they felt undermined the film’s dynamic. Baldwin described the criticism as both shocking and humiliating, likening it to being “mauled in the face by a wolverine.” He said he tried to tone down his comedic delivery but was ultimately cut from the project and told to go home.  The role eventually went to actor John Pankow, while Aniston starred opposite Paul Rudd, who played her gay roommate George. POLICE AVERT COMMUNAL CRISIS BETWEEN ACHALLA AND URUM COMMUNITIES IN AWKA NORTH LGA OF ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     It would be recalled that on the 15/5/2020 the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command *CP John B. Abang, fdc* summoned all stake holders in Achalla and Urum Communities over the looming crisis concerning land dispute which both Communities were laying claim of ownership. The CP waded into the matter and warned both parties to maintain peace and explore all the legal avenues to resolve their grievances without resorting to violence.The CP further assured both parties that he would contact the State Government to key into the matter in order to find lasting solution to the lingering problem.
However,despite the Commissioner of Police intervention and warning ,the two warring communities had on 27/5/2020 engaged themselves into a fight over same land matter.
Following the distress,the Command quiclky dispatched joint Police teams comprising PMF/SARS and other Conventional Units led by the Area Commander Awka ACP Yemi Ajayi.Situation was brought under control, while joint patrol is still ongoing to restore normalcy in the affected areas.
Meanwhile,extent of damage and injuries sustained has not yet being ascertained but the Commissioner of Police has directed the State CID Awka to carry out discreet investigation in order to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident and bring perpetrators to book, please.
