  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. WORLD ASTHMA DAY: THE DUCHESS OF GLOUCESTER SENT A MESSAGE TO ASTHMA UK AND OTHERS.{PHOTOS}.

    As COVID-19 affects the lungs and airways, it has become more important than ever for people with asthma to have access to the support they need.
On World Asthma Day and Charity Tuesday, The Duchess of Gloucester has sent a message to Asthma UK and others supporting people with asthma at this time.
“To everyone contributing to these efforts - whether it’s in person, over the telephone or virtually - I know you are under extraordinary pressure to keep people with asthma safe, and you are doing an extraordinary job. Thank you.”
HRH has been Patron of Asthma UK since 1975.
The Duchess also joined a call with Chief Executive Kay, services lead Helen and asthma nurse Caroline from Asthma UK yesterday, to hear more about their work at this busy time, which includes:
📞 A specialist asthma helpline, which saw eight times more calls than normal during March.
❓Advice on shielding, inhaler shortages and support for key workers with children in high-risk groups.
💻 Online health advice from in-house experts.
📕 A new, dedicated Post-COVID online hub and helpline, to specifically support people affected by breathing difficulties after contracting COVID-19.One more photo below.
