 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. ANOTHER LADY RAPED AND MURDERED INSIDE A CHURCH IN IBADAN,OYO STATE.{PHOTOS}.

     Weeks after a UNIBEN student, Uwaila Omozuwa, was raped and murdered inside a church in Edo state, another student, Grace Oshiagwu, was allegedly raped and murdered inside a church in Ibadan Oyo state on Saturday, June 13...
According to reports, Grace, a 21-year-old National Diploma student of Oke Ogun Polytechnic, was allegedly raped and then murdered inside the church located in the Ojoo area of Ibadan in Akinyele Local Government Area. She was discovered with machete cuts on her body.
In a statement released, the spokesperson of the state police command, Gbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the incident but said details of the incident are still sketchy.
This will be the third case of rape and murder of a female in Oyo state in recent times.
Barakat Bello, a student of the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), Federal College of Animal Health and Production, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, was raped and killed on June 1.
On June 5, a 29-year-old woman, Azeezat Somuyiwa, who was seven months pregnant, was also hacked to death by yet to be identified persons in Oyo state.More photos below.
