 FG ARRAIGNS 400 TERRORISM SUSPECTS The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi (SAN), has arraigned for prosecution over 400 terrorism suspects.  Judiciary Correspondent Austin Anyebe reports that the trials are taking place in different courts at the Federal High Court complex in Abuja.  A team led by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Lateef Fagbemi SAN supported by the Director of Public Prosecution of the Federation, Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), is prosecuting the suspects. Similar mass trial took place in April 2026. In that trial out of 508 defendants, the AGF's office secured 386 convictions, with 8 discharges and 2 acquittals.  Many of the convicts received prison sentences of up to 20 years.  The defendants are facing charges linked to terrorism, aiding and abetting insurgent activities, and financing.      The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, arraigned one Rahul Pathania, an Indian, and a vessel, M.V. Bount, before Justice Rilwan .M. Aikawa of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos on three-count charges bordering on illegal dealing in petroleum products.

The defendant was arrested alongside the vessel by the Nigerian Navy and subsequently handed over to to the Commission for prosecution.

One of the count read: “That you, M.V.Bount and Rahul Pathania, on the 31st day of January 2020, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, conspired among yourselves to commit an offence to wit: dealing in 45 metric tons of petroleum product without appropriate licence and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 3(6) of the Miscellaneous Offences Act Cap M17, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, and punishable under Section 1(7) of the same Act.”.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
