 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   President Tinubu Reconstitutes the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission   President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the reconstitution of the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), following the Senate's confirmation of its members on December 16.   Members of the reconstituted Board are:   • Mulisiu Olalekan Oseni, PhD. — Chairman   Dr Oseni started his service as a Commissioner in January 2017. He was subsequently appointed Vice Chairman of the Commission.   His appointment as Chairman took effect from 1 December 2025 and shall subsist until the completion of his ten-year tenure at the Commission, in accordance with the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2023.   • Yusuf Ali, PhD. — Vice Chairman   Dr Ali was first appointed as a Commissioner in February 2022. FATAL MOTOR/PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A MIDDLE AGED MAN WHOSE IDENTITY IS YET TO BE ASCERTAINED.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE

     On the 29/5/2020 at about 10:30am,along Oba-Nnewi old Road,a Mitsubishi L300 bus with REG.NO AFZ 71 XA driven by one Sunday Igwe 'm' of No:24 Ikwo street Ugwuagba Obosi in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State loss control and knocked down a middle aged man whose identity is not yet known.As a result,victim became unconscious.
Police operatives attached to Oba Division visited the scene and rushed victim to the hospital where he was certified dead on arrival by a medical doctor on duty.Corpse deposited at the gateway mortuary for postmortem Examination and preservation.
Meanwhile,the driver was arrested and obstruction cleared to enable free flow of traffic in the area.
However,efforts to locate the relatives of the victim proved abortive since the date of the accident.In view of the foregoing,the Command urged the public whose relations got missing and matched above description to report at Oba Police Station for possible identification and claim of the victim please.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
