 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. A 14-YEAR OLD GIRL COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER HER BOYFRIEND GOT HER PREGNANT.{PHOTO}.#RIP.

     14 year old Anita Haledu Ibrahim, a resident of Angwan Dorowa, Gbuja village, Andaha, Akwanga Local Government of Nasarawa state had committed suicide.
The deceased, an SS1 student of Government Science School Andaha, is said to have drank herbicide on Saturday 11th July, 2020 which resulted to her death.
A source close to the family disclosed that the deceased got pregnant for her boyfriend, who is also a resident of Andaha, during the COVID-19 lockdown.
According to the source, the father who later found out about the pregnancy, out of anger beat her up severely.
She died in the early hours of today Tuesday, 14th July, 2020 due to effect of the herbicide she took.
Burial preparations have been made and Anita is being buried in her family residence in Angwan Dorowa, Gbuja village, Andaha.
