 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). GOV. ABIODUN SIGNS N280BN REVISED 2020 BUDGET INTO LAW.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has signed the Revised 2020 Appropriation Bill into law, with a pledge to pay attention to health, education, infrastructure and other sectors that would boost the economy of the State.
Signing the Budget which was reduced from N449.97bn to N280bn in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, after receiving it from the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Kunle Oluomo, Governor Abiodun said his Government would work within the Budget to ensure that the people get its benefits.
"I want to appreciate our Lawmakers for expediting action on the Bill. The relationship between the Legislature and the Executive is exemplary. Issues relating to moving the State forward, are always given prompt attention.
"The House has done the needful. They have done a good work. We will do our best to ensure that we work within the Budget, by paying attention to those sectors that impact positively on our people," the Governor explained.
He noted that the review of the Budget was due to the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, in line with the current realities, adding that the Government would fix the inadequacies in the health sector, as highlighted by the Coronavirus.
Speaking earlier, Speaker Oluomo explained that relevant stakeholders were engaged in the course of amending the Bill, expressing the hope that it would reengineer the socioeconomic condition of the State.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
