 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢, 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐞, 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟔𝟐 𝐅𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has revoked the lands allocated to several prominent Nigerians, including former President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, due to non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy fees. Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy. LAGOS CONGRATULATES NEWLY ELECTED EXECUTIVE MEMBERS OF SENIOR CIVIL SERVANTS ASSOCIATION.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.


Image may contain: 1 person, standing, beard and indoor        The Chairman, Lagos State Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Olubunmi Fabamwo, has congratulated the newly elected executive members of the Association of Civil Servants of Nigeria, Lagos Branch on their successful election.
Mrs. Fabamwo stated this while welcoming the newly elected officers during a courtesy visit to the Commission, calling on the new members to focus on adding more value to the association by working in harmony with all members of the Union.
She emphasised that unionism is about building effective partnership, collaboration, communication and critical engagement with all, stressing that doing so is vital to achieving necessary success, productivity and good performance.
The Chairman of the Commission also commended the efforts of the Association in engaging the Lagos workforce on the State Health Insurance Scheme and the reactivation of the National Housing Fund (NHF), while encouraging them to ensure continuous dialogue and enlightenment of the stakeholders.
Fabamwo informed the visiting team that the Commission has been working in conjunction with other Common Services Agencies, as well as advocating that the management of the Human Resources in Lagos State should be cohesive and holistic.
While informing that the Commission will leverage technology for enhanced performance and excellent customer experience by the civil servants and other stakeholders, she challenged the Association to advise their members on appropriate procedures and channels for handling issues regarding their career in service.
“It is very important for the Union to partner with the Commission on innovative performance management systems that will lead to all-round productivity and excellent delivery of public goods to the citizens”, Fabamwo declared.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Association of Civil Servants of Nigeria, Lagos State branch, Comrade Olusegun Balogun stated that the visit was to acknowledge the Commission as a critical partner in ensuring the wellbeing and welfare of all its members.
He commended the CSC on the recent promotion of 3,756 Civil Servants despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the laudable way the Commission was able to conclude the exercise seamlessly and in a timely fashion.
Balogun disclosed that the Association had been partnering and collaborating with the State Government on issues that would continue to promote industrial harmony in the State.
The Chairman of the Association applauded the State Government for the Health Insurance Scheme as well as the National Housing Fund initiative in line with the commitment of the State Government to ensure an improved standard of living for its entire workforce.
Balogun, therefore, assured Mrs. Fabamwo that the Association will continue to partner and collaborate with the Commission in delivering its objectives to Lagos State Civil Servants.More photos below.
