  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. GOVERNOR ABDULLAHI SULE CHARGES PEOPLE OF UDEGE CHIEFDOM TO FISH OUT CRIMINALS FROM AMONGST THEM
“We believe there are criminal elements amongst the people of this area and we must fish them out”
This is the charge from Governor Abdullahi Sule to key stakeholders when he paid a fact finding visit to the palace of the Osu Ajiri, Halilu Bala Usman the traditional ruler of Udege Chiefdom of Nasarawa State on Sunday.
The visit follows the killing of Mr. Amos Ewa Obere, the monarch of Odu in Nasarawa Local Government Area.
Governor Sule who restates that security of lives of the citizens is a priority of his administration insists
criminals must not be allowed to truncate the peace and economic activities in our communities.
He expresses worry at the resurgence of insecurity in the area that was peaceful only months ago. He admonished youths in the area to shun crime.
The Osu Ajiri on his part commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for beefing up security in the area as well as the on going construction of mararaba Udege - Udege Mbeki road.
He however wants the speedy appointment of more district heads in the area for ease of administration and improved security.
Governor Sule accompanied by former governor and Senator representing the area Abdullahi Adamu and other government officials later paid a condolence visit to the palace of the late traditional ruler of Odu.
