 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.      Discussed yesterday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, on the situation in Ghana as it affects our citizens. He is very much on top of it, together with the Minister of Trade, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, who is also in touch with his counterpart in Ghana. The happenings in Ghana are indeed against the spirit of the ECOWAS protocol and must be dealt with decisively in the interest of both countries.-Femi Gbajabiamila.
