 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. PLATEAU STATE GOVERNOR LAUNCHES HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME .{PHOTOS}.

   Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has taken a giant step towards fulfilling his Rescue Mission in the health sector by launching the Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (PLASCHEMA).
Governor Lalong while Launching the program as the number one enrollee, said the initiative will reduce the burden of citizens of the State particularly the poor and vulnerable.
He warned against abuse of the program and neglect of patients, saying his administration will not tolerate such actions.
