 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. POLICE BURST A SYNDICATE WHO ALLEGEDLY ABDUCTED AND KILLED A MIDDLE AGED MAN IN OKIJA.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

 

     *Recover the decomposed body of victim buried in a shallow grave*

On the 5/9/2020 following intensive manhunt and actionable intelligence, police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti Robbery Squad(SARS) arrested the following syndicate,
(i) Obasi Faith Ezinne 'f' aged 23 years of Mbaitolu Imo State,
(ii) Ntomchukwu Anabaraonye 'm' aged 33 years of Okija and ,
(iii) Abuchi Obinna 'm' aged 26 years of Ihiala.
2. Suspects had on the 30/8/2020 allegedly abducted one Henry Okam 'm' aged 34years of Okija in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State.They also killed the victim with a pomp action gun and subsequently buried him in a shallow grave.
3. Meanwhile,the suspects who voluntarily confessed to the crime, took operatives to a thick forest in Ihiala where the decomposing body of the victim was exhumed and recovered to the mortuary for autopsy after it was certified dead by a medical doctor.
4. Consequently, the pomp action used by the suspects in perpetrating the henious crime including the victim's phones were also recovered in their posession and registered as exhibits.Case under investigation after which the Suspects and their accomplices would be brought to book.
5. The Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* once again reiterates his clarion call that there is no hiding place for Criminals in Anambra State and that the Command under his watch will continue to fish out and deal decisively with criminal elements in accordance with the law until they repent or relocate from the State.
