 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. Imo civil servants enjoying what has never happened before since the creation of our dear State in 1976.
The free shuttle buses provided for Imo workers by the Governor has earnestly eased the sufferings of the workers who suffers transportation hike from their monthly go home pay but can now comfortably save the money for other important needs in their respective homes.
Today, the songs of Hope are being sang on the lips of Imo Workers with prayers for the Governor who made it possible for them through Christ to enjoy among other things the dividends of democracy.
This shuttle buses are free of charge for Imo Workers and will not be deducted from their salaries as being speculated by the enemies of the State.
