 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. PLANE CRASH SURVIVOR KECHI OKWUCHI SHARED A PHOTO FROM 14 YEARS AGO CRASH.{GRAPHIC PHOTO}.

 

"If you are not dead, God is not done with you" - Plane crash survivor Kechi Okwuchi shares photo from 14 year ago...
The life of Nigerian plane survivor and singer, Kechi Okwuchi can be described of one resilience, strength and bravery.
The America's Got Talent finalist, was one of the two survivors of the 2005 Sosoliso plane that killed 107 people including her friends and classmates.
She endured more that 100 reconstructive surgeries including skin grafts, while completing her education.
Taking to Twitter, Kechi shared a photo of herself smiling from the hospital bed 14 years ago, few months after the plane crash along with words of encouragement, hope for other survivors and people going though tough times.
"Smiling through it all I know I’ve come a long way but reminders like this pic from 14 years ago really drive it home for me.I hope this encourages someone. No matter what you’re currently going through, if you’re not dead, God’s not done. Periodt." she wrote.
