 FG ARRAIGNS 400 TERRORISM SUSPECTS The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi (SAN), has arraigned for prosecution over 400 terrorism suspects.  Judiciary Correspondent Austin Anyebe reports that the trials are taking place in different courts at the Federal High Court complex in Abuja.  A team led by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Lateef Fagbemi SAN supported by the Director of Public Prosecution of the Federation, Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), is prosecuting the suspects. Similar mass trial took place in April 2026. In that trial out of 508 defendants, the AGF's office secured 386 convictions, with 8 discharges and 2 acquittals.  Many of the convicts received prison sentences of up to 20 years.  The defendants are facing charges linked to terrorism, aiding and abetting insurgent activities, and financing. RESIDENTS SPOT CORPSE IN A DRAINAGE CHANNEL IN MAKURDI.{PHOTOS}.

Corpse of a lady, identified as Angbiandoo was in the early hours of Sunday, 11th October, spotted in a drainage channel by residents of Calabar Street, High Level, Makurdi.
At the scene, Benue info-pedia gathered that, she left home in the early house of the morning and didn't return. Others who identified the corpse told our correspondents that she is a casual staff of Benue State University, Makurdi.
At the time of filing this report, Officers of the Nigerian Police Force are at the scene, and at the verge of evacuating the corpse.More photos below.
