 ANAMBRA POLICE ACTION ON THE CULT CLASH THAT RESULTED IN THE FATAL INJURY OF FOUR PERSONS AT AFOR NAWFIA MARKET The Anambra State Police Command wishes to provide a comprehensive update on the cult-related attack that occurred on the evening of 7th December 2025 at Afor Nawfia Market, along the Onitsha–Awka Old Road. It will be recalled that operatives of the Command attached to the Special Anti-Cult Squad, Enugwu-Ukwu, had, four days earlier, acting on credible intelligence about a planned rival cult confrontation, arrested two dangerous suspects and recovered a firearm from them. The arrested suspects have been assisting the Police with valuable information aimed at preventing further cult-related violence within Awka and its environs. Following threat analysis and intelligence gathering embarked upon by the Anambra State Police Command in order to stem the tide of Crime in the State,the Anambra State Police Command has Commence aggressive
deployment of Police operatives which also includes aerial surveillance,patrols and traffic control aimed at ensuring that "Ndi Anambra" and other residents alike are adequately protected and secured especially during this ember periods.The Command has taken cognisance of black spots such as Nkpor roundabout,Upper Iweka Axis,Idemili,,Owerri road,Onitsha,Enugu Agidi road,Nnobi junction,Ifite Okpuno and other flashpoints.
Consequently, the Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* reassures the Public that the law enforcement agencies will continue to collaborate and ensure safety and security of all citizens before during and after the Christmas and new year celebrations.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
