 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. IGBO PRESIDENCY IS NOT NEGOTIABLE IN 2023-ABARIBE.{PHOTOS}.

Senate Minority Leader and Senator for Abia South Senatorial District, Enyinnaya Abaribe has stated that the quest for Igbo presidency in 2023 is not negotiable.
The senator made the declaration after being presented with a Legacy Merit Award as the “Most Outstanding Performing Senator in the Southeast 2020” by the NUJ, Imo State council in an event in which he was represented by his aide, Chief Chijioke Ukoh.
Abaribe stated that giving up the agitation to accord the zone equal opportunities with other parts of the country, will deepen their already existing pitiable condition and thus subject her people to second class citizens.
He urged Igbos not to relent but to remain firm, resolute, and undaunted in the face of legions of challenges as there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
