Malian army withdraws from key Tessalit military camp: sources Mali’s army and its Russian mercenary allies have surrendered Camp Tessalit, a strategic military post in the north, multiple sources told the AFP news agency on Friday. Simultaneous attacks in Mali by militants linked to Al Qaeda and separatist Tuareg rebels on April 25 showed how fighters from different groups with different goals were able to strike at the heart of the West African country's military government. PRINCE CHARLES AND HIS WIFE PERSONALLY THANK THOSE INVOLVED IN THE COVID-19 VACCINE ROLLOUT TODAY IN LONDON.{PHOTOS}.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have carried out engagements in London to thank those involved in the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
In the morning, The Prince visited Jesus House, a church where a new NHS vaccine pop-up clinic has been put into action.
The church has been working hard to support the local community during the coronavirus pandemic and combat vaccine hesitancy. In an effort to encourage vaccine take-up amongst the BAME community, Jesus House has led seminars to share credible information about the programme, providing opportunity to raise questions and concerns with healthcare professionals.
As well as its regular community work, the church set up food banks to support those out of work or shielding. It also ran a school programme for young people experiencing internet poverty, who had fallen behind in their studies whilst homeschooling.
Later, Their Royal Highnesses visited Skipton House to hear from NHS England and the Ministry of Defence on the vaccine rollout.
The Prince of Wales said: “It has been a great pleasure, if I may say so, to meet those of you in different teams here, but also to have a chance just to hear from you your experiences and how you’ve been able to cope over the last year with this appalling pandemic, which has blighted the lives of so many people in this country.
“The fact that you basically, I suspect, spent seven days a week permanently on this particular battle against this virus is a truly remarkable tribute to the effectiveness of the NHS and to the team, the big team, that you have.”.More photos below.
