 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. The National Working Committee (NWC) of our Great Party, the PDP, has Approved the nomination of the following party members to serve on the SCREENING COMMITTEE to screen all aspirants for the upcoming Anambra State Governorship Election.
COMPOSITION:
1. H.E. Capt. Idris Wada (rtd). - Chairman
2. Sen. Ehigie Uzamere - Member
3. Hon. Mrs. Martha Bodunrin - Member
4. Rt. Hon. Jones Onyereri- Member
5. Chief James Ugwu (SE Zonal Secretary) - Member/Secretary
The Screening exercise is scheduled for Monday April 12 - Tuesday April 13, 2021 at the NWC Hall, Wadata Plaza, Abuja FCT.
Time is 9:00AM daily.
It is expected that the aspirants will exercise exemplary conduct and strict adherence to rules and regulations during the assessment that will justify the confidence reposed in them by the leadership of our Party.
