 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The National Working Committee (NWC) of our Great Party, the PDP, has Approved the nomination of the following party members to serve on the SCREENING COMMITTEE to screen all aspirants for the upcoming Anambra State Governorship Election.
COMPOSITION:
1. H.E. Capt. Idris Wada (rtd). - Chairman
2. Sen. Ehigie Uzamere - Member
3. Hon. Mrs. Martha Bodunrin - Member
4. Rt. Hon. Jones Onyereri- Member

The Screening exercise is scheduled for Monday April 12 - Tuesday April 13, 2021 at the NWC Hall, Wadata Plaza, Abuja FCT.
Time is 9:00AM daily.
It is expected that the aspirants will exercise exemplary conduct and strict adherence to rules and regulations during the assessment that will justify the confidence reposed in them by the leadership of our Party.
