 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00. NAPTIP: OFFICIAL LAUNCH AND HANDOVER CEREMONY OF THE BLUE BUS UNDER THE PREVENTION OF TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Earlier today, the official launch and handover ceremony of the Blue Bus under the Prevention of trafficking in persons through a travelling awareness-raising exposition of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and NAPTIP took place in Lagos State.
In attendance were, IOM Chief of mission, Franz Celetine, Consul General of Switzerland in Lagos Thomas Schneider, Migration Adviser, Swiss Embassy, Manuel Muhlbach, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim DG NAPTIP represented by Director Legal, Hassan Tahir.
The Blue Bus is a one-stop shop where vulnerable migrants, including community members, can get information on risks associated with trafficking in persons, where to report cases, and on-spot counselling services.More photos below.
