 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. THEME: Towards fighting the scourge of Human Trafficking and Irregular Migration in Edo State.
Yesterday, 9th March, 2021, NAPTIP organized a Town Hall Meeting /Community Dialogue Sessions on Human Trafficking and Irregular Migration in Edo State.
In attendance were the @dgnaptip represented by the NAPTIP Director Public Enlightenment Department, Mr. Arinze Orakwue, President and Members of the Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) Holy Cross Cathedral, the President and Members of the Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) St. Peter's Catholic Church Benin, State Director National Orientation Agency, President of Name Foundation, Executive Director, Genius Hub and a representative from Idia Renaissance.
The welcome address was delivered by the NAPTIP Benin Zonal Commander, Mrs. Ijeoma Uduak who In her address, commended the efforts of @dgnaptip, Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim in fighting the menace of Human Trafficking and Irregular Migration in the country.More photos below.
