A 14-year-old Ohio girl has taken her own life, and her family believes that social media played a role. Szedi Roush sadly took her own life on Friday, June 12th. The loss of such a young and vibrant life has left the Blanchester, Ohio community shocked and filled with grief as they struggle to make sense of her passing.  Szedi was a student at Blanchester High School, where she was very active in sports and, by all outward appearances, a happy and outgoing teen. However, Szedi's family says there was a side to her kept hidden from her family. Despite being hidden from family, Szedi posted about her feelings  on TikTok. The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Yerima P. Tarfa, said performance management is one of the key strategies to reformation in the civil service.
Tarfa stated this in Abuja while flagging off the two-day training workshop on capacity building organized for the Heads of Departments/Units of the Ministry.

Tarfa, commended the efforts of the Human Resources Management department for organizing the training workshop, and urged participants to make good use of the opportunity, offered by the workshop to build and improve on their professional capacities especially in area of human resources management.
The topics for the two-day training workshop included Establishment Matters; Scheme of Service; Role of National Council on Establishment; Nominal Roll Management and Developing Effective Structure and Organogram.
In her remark, the Director, Human Resources Management, Toyin Alade, said the training program will provide the necessary administrative skills needed by the Directors in the management of their departments and units.
She assured the Permanent Secretary that “brand new directors will emerge from the training”
