The ruling marks a major milestone in the reality star's quest for closure after what she previously described as the most terrifying ordeal of her life. Accountability Over Compensation The nominal sum awarded to Kardashian is exactly what she had requested from the court. In a joint statement with her stylist, Simone Harouche who was also present during the heist and received a matching 1-euro award Kardashian emphasized that the legal battle was never about money. ... As TG/PS Seeks Talent Discovery Through Creativity
The Lagos State Government Education District I on Thursday held its annual Art Exhibition aimed at discovering talents and creativity among its students from all schools within the District.
Speaking at the presentation held at Girls Senior High School in Agege, the Tutor-General and Permanent Secretary, Education District I, Mrs. Titilayo Margaret Solarin, said the exhibition was one of the ways to project the image of Nigeria and particularly Lagos State to the world.
She stated that the initiative was to advance learning across the State, saying that the idea of the exhibition was conceived to promote the teaching and learning of art among the students.
In her words: "This exhibition is part of adding to the value of Lagos and making the State a 21st-century megacity. The exhibition will boost the economy of Lagos State and Lagosians will no longer need to travel to other States to buy artworks. We must thank Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for creating an enabling environment for us in the education sector and we really appreciate all his efforts".
The TGPS described the participating students as bundles of talent and urged them to learn from each other on the artworks exhibited, just as she applauded the teachers for training students with such great talents.
"I commend our teachers and I urge them to do more. It takes a patient teacher to see these children through this training process. I thank you all for this great work you have done. This is practical work and without you, these children cannot produce this great work", she said.
The Director, Co-Curricular Science and Technology Development, Education District I, Omoaka Lucy Emike, said the exhibition was to discover the inherent talents in the children, nurture and build them to full capacity.
"I am shocked at the quality of what these children have produced. This is our own way to catch them young and if they can do this at this age, it means they will definitely do more as they get older", she noted.
Also speaking, the President, Visual Arts Teachers Association, Education District I, Dr. James Oluwadare Olomofe, commended the students for the brilliant exhibition, noting that through their artworks, they can enrich themselves, the State, the nation and the world at large.
He called for the replication of the exhibition across all Education Districts in Lagos State, saying it will encourage the students to choose exhibition arts as one of their subjects and which they can venture into upon leaving school.

The representatives of the senior and junior secondary schools that emerged winners in the competition, Esther Ejalonibu of Keke Senior High School and Idioma Chinemerem of Akesan Community Junior Grammar School, thanked the TG/PS for allowing them to express themselves through the art exhibition, adding that they were very happy that their schools emerged winners in the competition.
