 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. GRADUATING STUDENTS CERTIFICATE WITHELD AFTER SHE WORE A SHIRT WITH THE INSCRIPTION ''AGGRESSIVE MALPRACTICE BROUGT ME THIS FAR'.{PHOTO}.

University of Benin student, identified as Peace Ufuoma of the department of microbiology who wore the shirt with the inscription "AGGRESSIVE MALPRACTICE BROUGHT ME THIS FAR" to celebrate finishing her final exams, has landed herself in trouble.


The school's Senate is currently investigating her malpractice claims and will withhold her certificate as the school authorities say "her claims and actions are not befitting of an alumna of this great institution"!
