 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. THE IMO STATE GOVERNMENT REINSTATES LAW ON COMMERCIAL VEHICLE COLOUR CODE.[PHOTO].#PRESS RELEASE.

The Imo State Government has reinstated her law on commercial vehicle's colour code as enacted by the State House of Assembly in 2007.


The law which prescribed that all commercial vehicles operating across the state be painted in the following colour - Blue colour code 3011, to be painted down;  White colour code 797 to be painted up; Red colour code 555 to be painted as two red lines running from the boot to the bonnet. 


This move by the Shared Prosperity administration of His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma is in line with the commitment towards ensuring that Imo state is crime-free. The colour code law is being enforced together with the newly introduced data capturing and enrollment of all commercial vehicle owners / operators for identification purposes.


In addition to the actualization of the digitalization of Imo economy and governance, the implementation of this law has an aesthetic complement to the restoration agenda of the 3R Government.


With this reinstated law and the tracking system of the portal, the security measures for safety of all road users has been beefed up to a reasonable extent. It is worthy of note that the statistical data mining of this project would aid government in planning purposes.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
