 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. YOBE: OVER 150 DISASTER VICTIMS IN NGURU LGA RECEIVED GOV. MAI MALA BUNI'S SUPPORT.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

In the early hours of today 14th July 2021 as directed by His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni, over 150 Windstorm Victims registered and validated by SEMA in Nguru LGA recieved first line support.  This is in line with his Excellency drive to bring succor to the victims majority of whom are  of Low Socio-economic Status.


While effort is bieng intensified to bring more support in terms of other materials to the victims and other vulnerable POCs across the state, The Executive Secretary of SEMA said "This is aimed and supporting the victims put something on thier table, reduce burden of household they are transiting and give the household heads opportunities to comfortably go out and work to repair their houses ".


Nguru LGA Chairman who led the distribution thank Governor Buni for the timely response during this trying moments.
