 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. American Comedian Kathy Griffin announced on social media that she down with lung cancer.She shared the epistle as seen below when she wrote '' I've got to tell you guys something.I have can cancer.I'm about to go into surgery to have half of my left lung removed.Yes,I have lung cancer even though I've never smoked!.The doctors are very optimistic as it is stage one and contained to my left lung.
Hopefully no chemo or radiation afterthis and I should have normal function with my breathing. I should be up and and running around as usual in a month or less.It's been a helluva 4 years ,trying to get back to work,making you guys laugh and entertaining you,but I'm gonna be just fine,of course I am fully vaccinated for covid. The consequences for being unvaccinated would have been even more serious.
Please stay up to date on your medical check ups. i'll save your life.
