A FLORIDA SEA TOW CAPTAIN SAVED A MAN FROM A BURNING SHIP ONLY TO BE SHOVED OVERBOARD AND HAVE HIS BOAT STOLEN.(PHOTO)

 No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

COURT CONVICTS MAN FOR IMPERSONATIN NITDA OFFICIALS IN GOMBE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE..

Justice J.Awak of the Gombe State High Court, Gombe on August 2, 2021 convicted and sentenced one Ahmed Mohammed Mu'azu to three months imprisonment on one-count charge of attempt to impersonate officials of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).


The offence is contrary to Section 95 and Punishable under the same Section of Penal Code Law.


The defendant  sometime in 2019, under the guise of empowering the youths through a  Non-Governmental Organization, '' Youth Empowerment Capacity Building Organization of Nigeria'', Gombe branch promised unsuspecting members of the public training opportunities at NITDA, charging  N1,000 (One Thousand Naira) per participant.


Unfortunately, before he could execute his nefarious scheme, operatives of the Commission, arrested him in a sting operation facilitated through credible intelligence.

He pleaded guilty to the charge upon arraignment and was subsequently convicted and sentenced to three months imprisonment. The judge, however, gave him an option of fine of N10, 000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira).
