 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Governor Fintiri Flags Off Upgrade And Completion Of Dumne Cottage Hospital


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has flagged off upgrade and completion of Dumne  Cottage Hospital which was abandoned forty years.


Governor Umaru Fintiri at the ceremony at Demne on Tuesday said the project that has lingered on groundbreaking breaking in 1981. 


He added that leaving a project of this nature almost buried for 40 years is nothing short of a collective embarrassment however charitable "we want to qualify it." 


The Governor further said it becomes more embarrassing when one considers the central role the project is expected to play in the lives and livelihood of our people.


The Commissioner of Health and Human Services, Professor Abdullahi Isa said the project when completed will help Dumne Community.


There were goodwill messages from Doctor Mustafa Saidu Member representing Fufore, Song Federal Constituency, Mr Simon Isa Member House of assembly, Doctor Edgar Amos Sunday Head of service Adamawa state, Gidado Abdussalam Chairman song local government and commissioner for Rural infrastructure and community development Hon.
