 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. EFCC to Launch Strategic Plan 


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has concluded plans to officially unveil its strategic plan (2021-2025). 


The plan launch is in line with its mandate to investigate, prosecute and prevent economic and financial crimes and recover the proceeds of crime in Nigeria, 


The event takes place tomorrow, September 29, 2021 at the EFCC Headquarters, Abuja. 


According to the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa, the plan is in line with the five pillars of the national anti-corruption strategy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
