 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali.  “Catholics do not fast, they only feast! They do n0t pray fire by fire …”.   Same thing they told Jesus: “your disciples do not fast, they only eat and feast…”.  And Jesus would answer — how do you expect them to fast when Emmanuel( the groom) is with them! When Emmanuel is taken away, then they’ll fast!  (Mt 9:15).  No wonder the only difference between the words “fast” and “feast” is the letter “E” referring to Emmanuel. 


When Jesus (Emmanuel) is there, we will be feasting, rejoicing and being happy always; when Jesus is not there, it will be all fasting and sufferings and pains.  And Catholics are the only ones who seriously believe that Jesus is there concretely in the Eucharist. How then do you expect them to fast and suffer and pray fire by fire when Emmanuel is there in the Eucharist with them always!
