 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. GOV. FINTIRI PRESENTS CARS TO ROYAL FATHERS


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Wednesday surprised the Adamawa State council of Emirs and Chiefs when he distributed cars to the royal fathers at the Government House Yola.


The Royal Fathers who were at the Government House for their regular meeting with the Governor had the privilege of being presented with official SUVs and a Hilux pilot vehicle each.


The Governor commended them for their support to the administration towards maintaining peace.


He noted that the vehicles are meant to ease their logistics and help them contribute more to peace building.


The royal fathers that benifited include Lamido Adamawa Dr. Muhammad Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa, the Emir of Mubi Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu, the Gangwari Ganye Alhaji Umaru Adamu Sanda, the Amna Shelleng Abdullahi Isa Dasong and the Hama Batta Alhamdu Gladson Teneke.


Responding on their behalf, the Lamido of Mubi expressed appreciation to the Governor for the gift promising to use the vehicles for the betterment and unity of the state.
