 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Governor Ortom of Benue Celebrates Driver Who Gave Him Opportunity to Be Bus Conductor, Gifts Him Hilux Van


Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom on Monday, celebrated his former boss, Mnenge Mtemave, for making a positive impact in his life when he worked as a conductor.


It was gathered that Ortom had worked as a motor conductor to Mtemave, who was a driver at the Gboko Motor Park in the late 1970s, and early 1980s while growing up in Gboko town after dropping out of primary school.
