  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. EFCC Arraigns Car Dealer for N2m Fraud in Gombe


The Gombe Zonal Command of the EFCC, on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 arraigned a Car dealer, Ahmadu Dauda Jadda, before Justice J.A. Awak of Gombe State High Court on a one count charge of stealing to the tune of N2,000,000.00 ( Two Million Naira) only.


Jadda, who deals in used vehicles, was alleged to have approached the complainant to purchase a Volkswagen Sharon bus at N2, 000,000. He offered to pay N1.200, 000 in two weeks and the balance in four equal installments.


After taking possession of the vehicle, the defendant only paid N500, 000. And, all efforts by the complainant to recover the balance or his vehicle, failed.


Investigation by EFCC revealed that the defendant upon taking possession of the vehicle, promptly sold it and diverted the proceed for personal use.
