 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State has unveiled it's first electric vehicle.

Rector, Engr M.C. Arimanwa did the unveiling of the solar and battery-powered car.

The car was fabricated by Engr Pius Nwosu under the supervision of Directorate of lResearch Innovation and Development with sponsorship by TETfund.
