 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. IMO RURAL ROADS: IMO STATE GOVT. EMBARKS ON CONSTRUCTION OF 2.4KM AMUZI-UMUOPARADIM ROAD

It's a promise made and kept as the Imo State Government under His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has commenced work on the construction of 2.4km Amuzi-Umuoparadim road in Nwangele LGA, Imo State.

Recall that during the 5th Stakeholders Meeting Governor Uzodimma promised to increase infrastructural development across rural areas for proper distribution of the dividends of Democracy to the grassroot level.

With the Commencement of the Construction of the 2.4Km Amuzi Umuoparadim Road, economic activities are bound to Increase and bring about accelerated development. This would enable more economic players especially farmers to transport their produce to the urban areas for maximum benefits. In addition, the easy access Across Amuzi, Dim na Nume to Neighbouring Communities such As Umunaba-Isu, Abajah and Umuozu Communities would definitely bolster economic activities in the area.
